My journey began after I was in a abusive relationship. I would be told repeatedly that I was fat and unattractive and he would put hand on me if he found out I was eating “bad foods”. He would wake me up in the middle of the night and force me to go for a run and would try to starve me. He eventually ended the relationship because I was over weight and told me I would be fat forever and nobody would love me. I did not start this weight loss journey because of him. I started this because I was sick of looking in the mirror and agreeing with all those nasty things. I wanted to look in the mirror and see a strong, healthy, happy independent women staring back at me. Not a depressed, fat, heartbroken girl. I’ve chosen this new way of life because I deserve to live happy, healthy life
