Yup that’s it! These pictures are literally a minute apart. It seems Instagram is full of 30 day challenges, 3 week programs, 10 minutes per day workouts.

All promising to get you extreme results. This is not valid guys. It’s just not.

Now don’t get me wrong, you can see some solid changes in your body in a few weeks, with a solid workout and nutrition plan. With making changes to the food you eat and your physical activity level.

What you won’t see is drastic results, and you shouldn’t seem them that quickly. (1-2lbs per week, depending on your size, is what is recommended) Long term results happen with long term changes.

LOSE WEIGHT

Find a program you love, that you will be able to stick with. If that means starting with 10 minutes every day great! If it means adding a veggie to every meal, do it. But you have to continue to build. Continue to make sustainable, healthy choices.
So when you see these short term, use your critical thinking skills to recognize the differences in posing between the pictures to optimize the ‘results’. (note: not saying there is anything wrong with more confidence and standing up straighter because you feel good). And be sure you are making informed decisions about anything you choose to spend your money on.
