🔥Machine Shrug – 💪Upper Trapezius
Works on the traps, especially the upper trapezius.
🔥Â The Machine Shrug are the technique of doing the exercise:
- First, set the weight in the Machine Shrug at a convenient position for you. Grasp the handle of the simulator on the width of the shoulders, the palms pointing down.
- Remove weight from the fixture mounts. Stand up straight, relax your shoulders and arms. The back is straight. This will be your starting position.
- On inhalation, lift the weight as high as possible. Hold your shoulders in the uppermost position for 1-2 seconds.
Hint: try not to engage your biceps while doing the exercise. Work should only shoulders.
Lower the weight to its original position, run the desired number of repetitions
