I’ve lost a total of 34 lbs as of today since starting in March 2014. As time has gone on and the habits of my new lifestyle begin to solidify, one thing remains certain:
When motivation fades, dedication steps in.
It’s easy to stay motivated when you’re starting out. The more time passes, I find myself wishing I was already at my goal, getting discouraged it’s not coming off faster.
Grant yourself the patience to keep going. It took me 26 years to get to where I am. It’s going to take longer than a few months to get to where I want to be.
Be proud of your accomplishments. Be your own hero.
