🔥TIGHT UPPER TRAPS & SHOULDER IMPINGEMENT
🚨Â The shoulder is one of the most complex and fascinating parts of our body, and because many muscles play a crucial role in its health, hence the reason why it’s very easy to get shoulder pain depending on the cause.
✅Â In this post we can see how tight upper traps (caused by heavy strict pressing, staying all day on instagram on your phone, breathing incorrectly etc.)

The trapezius is divided in 3 main parts, but this time we’re looking at the upper part: “The descending part” which is inserted at the lateral third of the clavicle, the transverse part at the medial edge of the acromion and the ascending one at the upper lateral margin of the spine of the scapula.
When the trapezius gets tight, our shoulder gets pulled up and go into a vulnerable position, which causes them to easily rotate forward and possibly pinch the biceps’ tendon through internal rotation, which is the most common “pain” we get when bench pressing or doing any upper body pushing movement.

Having a weak serratus on top of it, only aggrevates the problem, because as you can see from the second and third drawing, it only enforces the internal rotation. –
If y’all want some trap stretches let me know in the comment section. Also like this post to show some love for my art. I truly appreciate it and it makes me understand that you guys care about it too.
