🔥Â HOW FLAT FEET CAUSE KNEE PAIN
💪Â When performing any squat or leg press variation, the knees should stay in line with the feet.
Being flat-footed, either in one foot or both, can cause the knees to drive inward of the feet, which can cause unwanted forces on the knees.
The Foot:
👟 Be conscious of what’s happening at the foot during the squat or leg press
👟 Work on the building the arch in foot
👟 See a foot specialist
The Exercise:
🏋🏻♂️♂️ Keep the knees in line with the feet
🏋🏻♂️♂️ Improve hip mobility to help drive the knees out
🏋🏻♂️♂️ Have the form assessed by a coach
🏋🏻♂️♂️ See a professional if knee pain exists/persists
